Most important environmental issues in Poland 2020
Ipsos, 46 percent of respondents in Poland thought that air pollution was one of the top three environmental issues facing their country, the most of any category. By contrast, only four percent of respondents believe soil erosion to be a top three environmental issue.
Dealing with waste another big issue
The second most important environmental issue according to Polish respondents was dealing with waste. When asked what they thought would be an effective policy in reducing plastic waste, 46 percent of Polish people thought that government investment to improve recycling would be an effective policy. As to what personal actions people were willing to take, 55 percent of people said they would re-use disposable items.

In the same survey, respondents from different countries had different opinions on the most pressing environmental issues. In Great Britain, 47 percent of respondents thought that dealing with waste was the most important issue, while in Germany the most important issue was climate change
